From dear Huijun HEY FRIENDS! I'm really really really really sorry, but today after history paper I forgot to give out physics assignment D: It's still hibernating behind the whiteboard with my physics textbook D: I'm really very sorry and the assignment is due next Tuesday. I've asked my friend from another class to scan me her assignment and I've attached it. So you can: 1. Print out the assignment (use one A4 paper, print double sided, it's only one sheet of paper xD) 2. get the assignment from me on Monday (but that means you only have Monday left to do it because it's due on Tuesday) 3. If you happen to be going back to school you could go and check if our classroom is locked or not, and if it isn't you can look behind the whiteboard the panel nearest the door to find the assignments. Its kiaped between my physics textbook...) Once again I'm really very sorry for forgettingD: I'm really sorry and I owe you sweets!! D: SORRY! New Seating Arrangement

Hello my friends! The following is the new sitting arrangement. The ones whose names have been asterisked and stamped in blue are group leaders! :D Please click the image to biggify.  NEW CHANGE: Ling Ling and Kay Lynn will switch seats! I lazy draw new one. Group leaders are in charge of safekeeping the keys which I've already passed to them. The keys are keys to the whiteboard cupboards and if at any time you want to put your mac (or something else) there, you can borrow the key from them. The keys are universal keys. They work for all the cupboards. Please do not lose the keys or you will be in deep trouble!People like Esna, Yun Ting, Yi Yun and Hui Wen may choose to sit facing the whiteboard or the wall. If you don't know what that means, you can ignore the previous statement (the price you pay for being dumb!). But please make sure when you do so, you do not inconvenience other people who would then have difficulty getting out of their seats. And also, from now on, duty roster will be by group. Esna's group: Monday. Rosemarie's group: Tuesday. Vanessa's group: Wednesday. Iram's group: Thursday. Yi Yun's group: Friday. It is up to the group leaders to decide who does what. The main components of cleaning the classroom are sweeping the floor, clearing the dustbin (which we don't have), arranging the tables and chairs at the end of the day so that the tables are straight and the chairs are pushed in, cleaning the whiteboard in between blocks and at the end of the day and cleaning up the teacher's table. The tidying up of the noticeboard is an optional task you might want to undertake. Please discuss with your group and group leader whether you want a group name. Either that or please get very attached to your group leader because your group name will be your group leader's name! Hoho! Like Esna's group! Yes, Esna's group may want to displace themselves slightly towards the center of the classroom if they can't see properly. Same goes for Yi Yun's group. Right now, more people should be able to charge their macs without displacing themselves from their seats, but some people still won't be able to (even more so if you choose to move more towards the center) so please make do. I have high confidence you guys will find your new groups so wonderful in the upcoming term! And with that, I end my talking. Edit: Oh please excuse the bad drawing. hey guys! ok firstly, WE GOT FOOD FROM THE CLASS BANNER COMPETITION! lots of thanks to lidia and huiwen and iram for staying back to paint:D i believe its in class now...so maybe we can have a small class party on monday? like between the LJs got 1.5 hours plus... so want like order in macs or something? it'll be our first class party!!! ok. secondly, want class outing this thurs? like to watch alice in wonderland. Is everyone free in the morning/afternoon? and last but not least, we will be getting 10cent refunds from the PITs as they announced in morning assembly. This is for both the cookies and the badges. and those who ordered the rainbow badges can collect from me on monday. the other type hasn't arrived yet so you probably won't get it soon. Founder's Day 2010

Hello my Friends! How was Founder's Day today? Heehee, I was having fun having a front front row seat and having fun bringing the guests' sunflower presents to the reception area. Anyway, I would like to say thanks to all those people who helped in our 3rd-placed poster! Okay, actually I knew our poster won since yesterday already (but I didn't know the placing lah) and then I was told to keep it a secret. So only me and akoo knew! heehee. So, um, I hoped you liked the surprise! Does it make you overwhelm with pride? Okay, nevermind. Also, DAMMIT. IT'S NOT US MAN. I WAS THERE AT ABT 3.15-3.30 AND I SAW TWO STRANGERS IN OUR CLASS!!!!! THEY LOOKED LIKE THEY OWNED MY CLASSROOM PLZ. ONE OF THEM HAS THE SAME RED WATER BOTTLE AS VICTORIA. BUT THEN THAT GIRL DIDN'T LOOK LIKE VICTORIA AND I BELIEVE ISN'T VICTORIA AND LOOKED LIKE NOBODY I KNEW. AND I ALSO DIDN'T RECOGNISE THE OTHER GIRL. THEREFORE THEY ARE STRANGERS AND NOT FROM OUR CLASS. IT ISN'T EVEN THE MATH CES PEOPLE I BET. IT'S JUST TWO STRANGERS WHO OVERTOOK OUR CLASSROOM. DAMMIT. So I hoped you enjoyed founder's day! As for the big hamper we received, I will figure out what to do with it. It's still in the classroom isit? OH BTW. For Learning Journey!!!! If you swapped, please e-mail me the info of your swap. -Attendance is compulsory -Attire: House t-shirts and culottes -Reporting Time: By 7.20 am -Check sitting time and take up your position as a class accordingly -Class Chairperson/Secretary is to mark attendance at 7.25 am and report any absentees to your form teacher or teacher ic General Conduct: -Be attentive during the whole function and in particular, active listeners when speeches are made -Sit, respond and applaud appropriately and do not scream -Put away your bags and files in your lockers -Leave the amphitheatre only when you are told to (especially NOT before the VIPs) -Make sure your classrooms and locker areas are really clean by 5 March (it's too late now!) -Upon dismissal after the cheers, all pupils are to leave the amphitheatre and keep clear of the cafeteria and the toilet on the ground level of Block D Wet Weather Seating Plan: @ KS Chee, at the rightmost side Dry Weather Seating Plan: D Block 3rd floor. Blocks ending late

It has been brought to my attention that the bell never works nowadays and lessons always eat into our recesses/lunches. Okay, I brought it to my own attention. Anyway, you should have the courage to tell the teacher "Mr Ng, actually, your blog ended 10 mins ago. It's our lunch now." for example. That happens a lot. Because it doesn't matter to me if I don't intend to go down for recess/lunch. And so I think it's a good opportunity to practise speaking up in class and practise courage. Because I think you all are pretty bad at telling teachers they overshot their block. I know some people will willingly do it! But I think you should encourage shy-er people who still want their recesses/lunches to do it instead! Then we will all have a very brave, courageous class and no more overshot blocks! If what I'm saying sounds like crap to you, you obviously are in denial and should all the more be the next one to tell the teacher that teacher overshot the block. Okay, yes, please be brave and courageous. Then I can have something to brag about like "haha, my class always tells the teacher when the bell doesn't ring." Okay, not really, but you guys should learn to speak out! |

Learning Journey

You must have heard that the time table for learning journey is out! Okay it's pretty much the same as what Mr Lim said. So we still have 2 free days. Monday Lower Pierce Trip 7.00-11.00 Culture Vulture 13.00-16.00 Tuesday NOTHING Wednesday YOG & Olympics Spirit 10.00-12.30 Air Force Museum 13.00-17.00 Thursday NOTHING Friday Managing Resources (SS) Please refer to post about SS LJ for the timings. Also, please in the future, do not only sweep up visible bits of litter. Sweep the floor. There is stuff like dust and hair and things that camouflage with the cement floor. When the HOY checks our classroom, she has a method of checking whether the floor was actually swept. And it works. So please do not thing the HOY is stupid or that I am stupid or you are stupid. Because after all this is your learning environment, and the air con will just make the class dirtier. (It's a rule of life.) Also, side note, do you know if the air con temperature is below 25 degrees, it will disrupt your 气. In other words, anything below 25 degrees is not actually good for you. Reg 1-15 (Aliza to Valerie) are going to Semakau Landfill (Pulau Semakau) Reg 16-22 (Rebekah to Wen Xin) are going to Tuas South Incineration Plant Reg 23-31 (Jasmine to Jessica) are going to Tuas Marine Transfer Station Place/ Reporting Time/ Time bus leaves RGS/ Est. Time back in RGS Tuas South/ 7.45/ 8.00/ 11.45 Tuas Marine/ 8.45/ 9.00/ 11.45 Semakau/ 8.00/ 8.15/ 1.30 ICs for each group shall be Cherine, Lidia, Yi Yun (Semakau, South and Marine respectively) You guys are in charge of taking attendance and reporting to the teacher & collecting the indemnity forms Indeminity forms must be completed and brought along on Friday which ICs will then collect. If you can’t submit, you will be unable to visit whereever you are visiting. Photography is not allowed! D: Except in the installation room and control room which is like blah. If you need to swap, e-mail/inform Mr Lim by Friday. Please note, to go to Semakau, you need to take a ferry. Which is a lot in a few hours! And I didn't even realise she went to ask you all. Then she gave me the money and I was like, "So fast?" Because it's actually due 2 days later. So good job Hui Wen! Very Important Issues

Hello fellow ANIMALS! We've been told that our class is very dirty, and have been booked for it! While it is somewhat hilarious, this goes to show that We Are Not Doing Our Duty. I myself am guilty of this. Which is really bad! But we can change this, okay? :D Nobody wants to come to a Dirty Safari! So let's imagine that we are an actual safari running a business then if we don't keep it clean all our animals will die (X_X) and we will have no visitors. And then the newspapers will write bad stuff about us and we will CLOSE DOWN (okay not likely) but you see, when we get scolded it is Not Good for class morale! And we have 2 years together so it is Very Important to keep our Class Morale up! In order to accomplish this High Class Morale and Togetherness, we must first attempt to keep our classroom clutter-free. This is because if it is not clutter free, then when trying to walk to each others' tables to be friendly and love each other, we will end up tripping over cables and stuff. The cables bit cannot be helped, I think (which brings me to another point: BE CAREFUL, KIDS, MACS ARE FRAGILE AND SO ARE YOU) buuuuuuuut the random bits of paper can!! Okay!! Val and I have decided that we, along with the Enviro Rep (who is Lisa! Right! I know the position switched around abit, sorry), shall have a New Initiative, which is to ~READ OUT THE DUTY ROSTER EVERYDAY~ ! This is a bit Lame, I know, but this is so that we shall Remember what to do! And since some of us are stuck with lame things like "Turn off Lights and Fans", which are important but do not take much time, then we should Help Those Who Have Tough Duties. Okay okay :)))))))))) We may be animals but if we suddenly clean up our act (HAHA GET IT like CIRCUS ANIMALS AND AN ACT + CLEANING UP THE ROOM okay nevermind a bit far fetched) then we will amaze the MrLim and the MrNg and maybe they will stop complaining! Which would be fantastic! RIGHT Oh and another thing! In order to further our goals of Class Bonding, we need to have OUTINGSZZZ!!! Possible ones would be - Alice In Wonderland movie outing ((: Which is, you know, going to watch the Alice In Wonderland movie. - IKEA!!!!!!!! outing :D Because we still need our curtains! - Anywhere Exciting We must have fun and Work Together as a Class to come Holistically and form Bonds, okay? Okay okay?
