Hi friends! :D WARNING: RELATIVELY LONG BUT ALSO CRUCIAL POST Okay this is regarding ~class deco~. Treasurers will be collecting money from you guys to cover whatever deco costs we may have + spare stuff just in case our class suddenly needs to buy something / has a pressing urge to buy pizza / whatever!!!!!! Okay? (: Anyway you should know by now that our theme is something like ~SAFARI~. However, after analysing our class abit more, I figured maybe we should add an adjective of sorts to safari! And manage to put 315 into it! Like... -TH3 AMAZ1NG 5AFARI or -TH3 CH1LDREN'S 5AFARI or 3XTREMELY 1NTERESTING 5AFARI or something!!!! Kk so right now I'm not too sure but I know you are all very ~*~CREATIVE~*~ people right so please come up with ideas C: Just include "3" and "1" in the words before "safari" (since the 5 is a given), and like post on the tagboard or something! Go discuss and come up with something ~FANTASTIC~ and preferably Representative Of Our Class (see the "TH3 CH1LDRENS' 5AFARI"? Representative of our class right.). On another note, DECOR!!!! I have obtained from a certain shop (HAHA JODIE) this...bee...holder...thing... okay you know what, I can't be bothered to explain it, you'll see on monday. Anyway! It's gonna be part of our decor 'cause a) It's chiiiiiiiildish (cute lah! At least I think it's cute @_@ oh dear) b) It's a BEE!!! Which...is kind of related to safari!!! c) It can be used to hold stuff! We're probably gonna put markers + aircon remote in it C: Haha okay that was abit random but so you know ok!!!!! ENVIRO, CAN YOU GUYS MAKE A "BEE CONSCIOUS!!!!" SIGN? Heh heh geddit bee conscious okay nvm. Alright and I think we should make our class into a very nice happy environment so besides theme, -What to do to our walls? (stick stuff? what stuff? or whatever) -ooooooh can we put green crepe paper on the air conditioner so it flutters when it blows and it's green so it's like leaves HAHA ABIT FARFETCHED. -Do you wanna make the indented portion of our class (you know the corkboard bit) like a sort of changing room? Which means we gotta string copious amounts of (green!!!) cloth somehow. -Please think of an animal that you would like and then draw it and stick like on your desk! The front part! So your tables are kinda personalized :D!!! You can print if you really want but if you print can you like print an outline or something and colour it in HAHA -kk this sounds abit silly but would you like a smallish mirror at the back like in a corner or something so if you really need to retie your hair like after pe or whatever it's convenient? Can include comb also if nobody minds but I think that one is a bit gross. MAYBE WE CAN HAVE SPARE RUBBERBANDS OR WHATEVER HAHAHA!!! Hey guys, I was thinking for Bio, since we have to develop at least 3 observable results in the quail egg, and we need to sort of make it consistent as a class, and external condition that we have to change is the water and syrup thing, yeah so I was thinking, Egg 1: Just leave it there (control) Egg 2: Put in water Egg 3: Put in syrup :D Yay! Then after that, the 3 observable results should be like, the mass, diameter (?) and something. Maybe colour of egg or something. I'm not sure. But it should be like, a dependable variable, yes. I was thinking volume (????) but it might affect the egg or something. So what say you guys? Diameter is a bit hard, because I scared the vernier calipers will destroy the egg. Also, if you go on moodle and see the student resource thing or aka http://moodle.rgs.edu.sg/moodle/mod/resource/view.php?id=2054 And look at the Lesson 3 worksheet, you will realise that the hydrilla thing we are going to do while we wait for the egg to change. Yea, so if you want, you can pre-empt the lesson or something by reading it. |

Chair and Vice-chairs now have admin privileges to this blog! Yay! So um class stuff. So um, below is koped from the document from Mr Lim. Please read through. ONE! We need: Environment comm (8ppl or less) -internal (one i/c and 4 members or less) -external (one i/c and 4 members or less) Welfare comm (one i/c and 8 members or less) -PB/PSB/SLN Liaison (this role is rubbish man, I think you can ignore this) -Recreation and inter-class activities -House Reps (this role is like redundant too) I think Welfare comm can just be like welfare comm and then environment comm can just be enviro. Don't worry about what internal external housereps rubbish. Media Resource Committe (2 members) Subject Liaison Comm -8 Subj reps (eng, chi, math, bio, phy, chem, hist, SS) -1 CLE rep -2 PE reps Think about what you want to be! I have what each person's job is supposed to be about. Like environment rep is supposed to make sure the lights/fans/blah are switched off. But I think we can keep that flexible and you guys can decide what your jobscope should encompass, when you get your job. TWO! Class deco as leti has mentioned! I like safari! Our chalkboard is nicely safari themed already! Our chalkboard looks very pretty too! This topic we will raise in class one day! I'll find a chance. And our future welfare comm will be in charge of this! THREE! Mr Lim says we need an attendance thing on the whiteboard. Like this shall be the secretaries' jobs! Haha! LIDIA AND JING-WEN. You guys need to draw like a box thing and everyday update the attendance and also write down who's absent. He says is the school say one. FOUR! Mr Lim says we need a duty roster! So um, this will be the job of the environment committee! When it happens. Meanwhile, please try to keep the class clean. FIVE! We need class values/motto/vision! Let's just come up with one in five minutes and stick with it. Don't spend like ten minutes on it lah. Values can just take C, H, E, N, G, B, U and S and come up with a value for each letter lah. Hey yo guys, in case you didn't know, we have to sign up for some aesthetic programme by 20th jan which is wednesday... but if you very kiasu should go early and kope the time slot you want. It's compulsory so all you have to do is indicate which day you're free. The forms can be found outside the needlework room and the kitchen there. YES, there are 2 forms for 2 different courses. ya. so remember. and also right, there was this earthquake in Haiti so if you feel super charitable or maybe a little charitable or have a lot of money to spare, you can donate money by passing it to me tomorrow. Oh man! Sorry for the spam i was like trying to apologise for the repetition about the house tees thing and i accidentally press enter and the post was like posted. hehe... but it is okae since no one is posting. so i shall spam. muahahaha... when i was in primary six, our class were like strivng to like reach our 610th post in a year because we were like in 6/10. Yup! so maybe we can also try to reach 3415th post by the time we graduate. kind of lame but haha... anyway, for the bio homework, i ask friends from other classes and they said they will just go internet to find and draw. that is sort of wrong, but if we really did not observe any creatures then i guess that is the last choice we have. (though i sort of saw a mealworm there but i did not really stare and observe) Edit: Hi friend, this is Yun Zhen abusing all her admin privileges in hijacking your post. Hey guys, I'm here to immortalise Roland's lame puns! Somebody: Aiyo, I have a new bruise. Lidia: (jumps off jetty and the sole of her shoe floats away and she doesn't know whether to retrieve it)Anyway, uh, I just thought the blockquotes are super pretty in this skin lah. And anyway, it seems like I'm the only one posting, so I might as well post more! Also, this is a bit lag, but I just want to say Good Job for the finale! You know the first time I taught you guys the peace by the river thing and then even though it was kind of dark and I couldn't see your faces, it felt a little like you all weren't very amused and didn't want to do it and then I felt very fail as MOE. But then you know, I'm kind of happy that when you guys didn't know, you took the initiative to ask me or other people what exactly were the confusing hand actions and then I was also very happy when I saw people practising by themselves and it made me feel less fail. And then you know on Day 4, in the night, I was trying to brief you guys on what was going to happen but then looking at your tired and tired faces and unresponsive responses, I was a bit sad. And then on the morning of Day 5, it was a bit the same, so I was feeling very unsure whether people actually understood what I was talking about. But I was happy when the performance was so good and nice and even if you screwed up, I would like to tell you I screwed up too, and it's only human to err and nobody cares actually. Also, I would also like to say that the instructor's dedication thing that we planned and tried not to let the instructors know, was a bit fail also. Some of you don't know, but er, Roland saw the paper with the script scribbled in green marker on it. -.-" And then before that he told Leti, "Eh, I heard your rap quite cool." And then I thought he heard only. But apparently he saw. And then remember I was asking around who had the original copy of the rap, and nobody had it, apparently it was with Roland. Damn paiseh. But haha, I think we pulled it off, and er, Good Job. So even though I didn't become MOE voluntarily and all of you volunteered me, I think I enjoyed it, I guess, and am sort of happy on hindsight that you all had nobody else to volunteer. Thanks friends. This was quite long. Also, as sort of your reward for reading this far, I would also like to say that UNIFORM ON MONDAY NOT HOUSE TEE. HOUSE TEE ONLY NEXT MONDAY. |
